Tired of scrubbing those pesky black streaks off your rig? Well here is a low or no cost way to make your own rain gutter extenders.
Cut several lengths of 1/2 inch white rubber hose, 2 1/2 inches long. The tubing was salvaged from an unused section of pool sweep hose.
The pieces of hose were then split, end to end, as in first photo below using a sharp pocket knife.
Next drill a 1/8 inch hole in one end of each split piece. Also drill a 1/8 inch hole in the end of each rain gutter spout on you rig. See second photo.
The piece of hose is then pop riveted using 1/8 inch by 3/8 inch pop rivets onto each of the rain gutters.
